Hi all,

My indicator/light stalk has started playing up.. sometimes the indicators don't work without putting a bit of pressure on the stalk and jiggling it around until they come on. This also affects the headlights, if the indicators won't work, the headlights wont either.

I have just installed a dusk sensing unit, but I don't feel that it is the cause of the issue, as the sensor bypasses the stalk switch and it had started doing it before I installed the sensor.
The only thing I can think is that when I was first looking for the wires I needed for the sensor, I removed the stalk. But as soon as I realised nothing was accessible there, I put it back on.

My wife's Outlander also had the same issue, is it a Mitsu fault, or have I stuffed it by removing it (or something completely unrelated)?

thanks in advance :)

Nick

Had mine replaced under warranty 2 yrs ago. Had all the symptoms of yours. 15 min job while I waited. New one feels much softer to use.

Same. Had mine replaced roughly around a year and a half ago.
Mitsu tried to tell me cause I'm a woman I was imagining the fault cause they found nothing wrong.
Took the service manager for a drive and got my stalk replaced.
