I've had a few things on my mind I thought I'd throw up to get some peace of mind, of its something I need to get looked at on my 380.

1. My air conditioner fan is rather noticable when running, even on low. A light ticking sound, is this normal?
2. Glovebox is rooted, that's normal.
3. I get a groan/whir from the power steering sometimes, it's not loud, just noticable. Fluids were topped up a month or so ago during maintenance. Is this normal?
4. When cruising at 40 or 60kmph, the car seems to have problems finding a place to cruise along nicely, I've gotta accelerate a little bit. If I don't it keeps dropping back a gear and not very smoothly. Trans fluids were topped up at the last service I did too. Should I look at flushing the trans or could it be something worse? Can I flush the trans myself or worth going to a mechanic?

I bought the car in April this year (2007 SX series 3) at 76,000kms. It's on 86,000 now (serviced at 83,000).

here's my (possibly completely wrong) 2c!

number 2 - elaborate? mine wouldn't close, so i just tightened the latch screws and its fine now

a guess at 3 - in my experience, power steering will whir at full lock. when is it happening?

number 4 is the same on my car. I think i read somewhere its just a 380 thing. I'm sure someone will tell me if i'm wrong though.

1: I have had my fan replaced a few times over the 7 years I've had my 2005 380
2: not sure there ...
3: mine shudders sometimes but the grown might be you holding the wheel on full lock causing the power steering to stress
4: Yeah search for transmission shudder as its been covered. EBay a tube of Dr Tranny and add it to your transmission fluid and the problem is solved.

I think a lot of these issues would have been fixed if the car had stayed in production.
