Hello again guys, I'm back with another problem with my Mitsubishi Magna Wagon. I've got it for maybe 2 weeks now and was running fine till a few days ago. The vehicle would idle at at around 800 RPM when I change gears to "Drive". Also, it would shake and jerk occasionally while idling. This would happen when I switch gears to "Reverse" as well.
So hopefully you guys can help me out here as I've just bought the vehicle recently and now I'm panicking. Thanks!
Is it a fairly minor shake/jerk? Like not a big thump or anything? The Magnas commonly idle a bit rough, could be a good sign that your engine money are split and need replacing too.

Hmmm, I don't really know how to describe it. It would idle fine, than it would jerk, and it would idle fine again. I could feel a lost of power as if the vehicle was going to stall before it would jerk again. By the way, what are engine moneys? I don't really have a technical knowledge when it comes to cars. Are they costly to fix?

Sounds like a misfire.
lol I imagine Woob is on a mobile phone and meant "engine mounts" but the auto correct stuffed it up.
Ill be the first to admit that I was on a fully functioning PC when I wrote that, I'm running on no sleep and a big day atm :P

Haha. Damn, that sounds bad. Would it be expensive to get it fixed? Also, I did some googling and some people suggested that the air flow sensor could be the problem? Is that true?

Don't replace random bits on the basis that it could be the problem, that is going to waste a lot of your time and money that way.
Need more details.
What engine speed does it run at, when you first start it and once it has warmed up?
How many km on the car? How old are the spark plugs and leads?
What does the tachometer do when it jerks?
Find a dark spot when the engine is idling, lift the bonnet and look for sparks on the plug leads and distributor when it does the jerking bit. Could be spark plugs, plug leads, distributor cap, etc.

I would start by replacing your front spark plugs after you do what Max says. if it is missing like that, then it could use it. How many km on your car and when were the rear bank plugs changed?
