I am helping my brother fix his TP SE and all it needs is a new front engine mount.
How difficult is it to replace the front engine mount?
If it isn't too difficult, could someone refer me to some instructions.
Thank you

14mm bolts to undo

support the motor weight

undo two on the mount attached to the frame
you get that from the top of the engine bay

for the auto theres a small shock absorber to be undone

undo the through bolt of the front mount
thats it
start all bolts a few threads then when align tighten fully
use the jack on the motor to line up the through bolt of the front mount

Since the engine is sideways, "front engine mount" is a little ambiguous. I assume you are referring to the engine mount on the passenger side of the vehicle (front of the engine). If so, it is relatively easy. Last time I replaced one, I had it off in ten minutes.

Undo the support brackets for the air conditioning hose and power steering hose that run above the engine mount so that you can move them back out of the way. Place a jack under that end of the engine, using a piece of wood as a spacer to protect the sump. Jack up the engine just enough to take its weight off the engine mount. Undo and remove the engine mount through bolt. The head of the through bolt is actually a plate and is attached to the side of the mount with two smaller bolts, so you have to undo those as well as the large nut on the other end of the through bolt (17mm I think). You may have to raise or lower the jack a fraction to take any weight off the through bolt so that you can slide it out. Now remove the four bolts (14mm) that hold the mount bracket to the front of the engine. You should now be able to manoeuvre the mount and bracket out of the engine bay. After replacing the rubber mount, re-fitting is the reverse of the above and again you may have to adjust the jack height up or down slightly so that you can wiggle the through bolt into place.

If you were referring to the front roll insulator (shock absorber thingy) on the side of the engine and at the front of the car, that's even easier - just a bolt on either end of it.

thank you to everyone for your information.
I have just ordered the correct mount from the ebay link posted by Veeone.

I apologize for the confusion; i was talking about the mount that is closest to the front of the vehicle (technically the side of the engine.)
