am i right in thinking the wagon rear wiper washer uses the bottle at the front of the car ?
it appears to have a spot for a 2nd pump and there is a 2nd set of wiring as well.
but i cant see any hose running down to the back
just got the car and the bottle was knackered, but the original only had 1 x pump

Yes they do you will probably find it has been replaced before you got the car and they used a sedan one instead which only has the 1 pump.

My TL wagon has two pumps and 2 black water hoses coming from the tank.
One hose is easy to follow, goes to the bonnet jets. The other disappears into the bulkhead somewhere.
If you need to make do with a sedan bottle, don't use the wiper dry, wait until you get to somewhere you can point a hose at the rear screen before you turn that wiper on.
Probably a good idea to check that rear wiper blade, glass is easily scratched by the arm if the rubber is perished and coming off.
Washer on my TS wagon never worked, so I never used the rear wiper, just washed it whenever - you can live without it.

unfortunately i have to get a roadworthy so i have to get it fixed , i have 2 x pumps now and a new bottle from Mal, so ill just drill a new hole,
but i cant for the life of me see the hose that runs up the back , i had a quick look under the dash as i have to pull the instrument cluster to change the D globe, again for road worthy cert
going over the wagon this arvo the bloody seats were all loose , im guessing they got swapped out at some time

Just checked - the hose for the rear washer disappears into the right guard. Only a short bit is visible. I assume it then runs up the driver's side "A" column, along the roof to the tail gate washer.
If you pull the "A" column trim off on the driver's side you may see it there.

Thanks Max, it looks like its had the R/H/F guard replaced at some stage, that is probably why its missing
ill measure it up 2moro and get a joiner
thanks for your help mate

That might explain why it has the wrong bottle, bit of a bingle on that corner I should imagine.
There should be a non-return valve somewhere in that long run of water hose too, to stop water draining back after you use the screen washer.
Wreckers may be an option, if you know what length you are after.

Sorry, no pictures. (Not pulling my car apart. lol)
Manual isn't much help, unfortunately.
Tried taking the plastic trim off the driver's side interior vertical windscreen trim ( = "A" column) to see if it is in there?

It follows the harness into the inner guard, there is a joiner on the actual grommet the front harness uses to enter the car, it then joines on the other side and then follows the inner pillar up to the roof and then off to the back
If you remove your splash guard then you should see where the front harness enters the car in the pillar, there should be there at the top of the oval entry grommet a fitting for the washer hose if the hose has not been left rolled up under the inner guard

turns out the joiner is hanging out, need probably 1.5 to 2.0 meters of hose from the 2nd pump to that joiner under the r/h/f guard
sneeky lil fugger
i would never have found that joiner ....
thanks again Mal, ....drilled the new hole in the washer bottle you sent me and used the original pump and grommet/filter
