Car won't start, turns over but won't fire, I am told the problem is probably the ignition module. I'm hoping someone may be able to tell me where the ignition module is located on a TN Magna 1988 Carby model and how to replace it. Thanks

are you sure it isnt the coil


anyway the ignition module is inside the distributor below the rotor

try a wrecker or auto electrician for the part

you have to turn the motor to TDC with number one on compression stroke
rotor contact not quite 12 oclock

the dissy is held in by the 12 mm nut and seal so it might be a bit tight to remove
