Hi, I recently bought a 2003 TL wagon, which has been hassle free, until I pressed the drivers side window down. Unfortunately it won't come back up and none of the other windows are operating. All other electrics are working fine, tried new 40a fuse, no go. There is no noise coming from drivers side window gearing. Any help appreciated, am getting car serviced this week, I just want to know is it possibly a dodgy master switch or something else. Cheers!

Probably a dodgy switch. I have seen them die before and that's how it generally happens.

The TL switch pack is CRAP! Try cleaning it out and clean the plug. Check for dirty connection

Fuse is in the engine bay, switch has prob collapsed internally, I sell 1 or 2 each week for these
Same thing happened to me, turns out one of the little copper connectors had come of its mount, shorting the circuit and the fuse in the engine bay, i would take the switch out and check there isnt anything blocking the connectors , and that they are all sitting correctly .

I had the problem as Tevo, but never blew any fuses, Of and I'm in Springwood, if that's close to you, I'd be happy to have a look for you..

Thanks for the heads up, popped out master switch, disconnected it then pushed plug back in and windows are all working again, so thanks again,
Cheers ricardo.

Mine did that and I had to bang it for it to work, every few days it would stop working, Bang then it would work. Then one day the bang didn't help so went to the wreckers and bought a second hand set of switched, and all has been good.
