Just wondering what fellow AWD owners are paying for a set of 235/45/18 - 95+ load rated tyres, and what brands.

Thanks

Go see murph03 aka michael at Beurepaires at South Rd, Edwardstown. I got the Hankook Ventus V12 Evo k110 234/34R18 from him fitted and balanced for $259 back in July. May be more or may be less now.

Hankook Ventus V12 Evo
Kumho KU13
Falken Azenis FK453

These are all available in that size & have the correct load rating or higher. They're all around the $250+ per corner fitted & balanced.

Are you sure its Kumho KU13 and not KU31. KU31 is a lot more expensive and the FK453 being a very new flagship tyre will also be more expensive then the hankook. You have to remember the OP is in SA and not VIC.

Yes, you're quite correct; I meant the KU31. Sorry about that. :)

I recently picked up a set of the Falkens for my FWD & paid $1,050 fitted & balanced. I was quoted the exact same for the Hankooks & the Kumho's. All at my local TyrePower. That's why I chose them, considering my last 2 sets of tyres were the other ones I've listed.

TyrePower are an authorised Kumho dealer so I would have thought the price would be the same or at least similar around the country? The Falkens whilst being a new flagship tyre aren't overly expensive & only replace the FK452, rather than being a new product line for Falken.

Do you like the falkens? Any falkens i've driven on have been overpriced and rubbish.

Tyre places here only stock the common sizes. Others, including mine had to be shipped from interstate. Bridgestone was resonably priced until they closed the Adelaide factory.
