Hey guys, well when i bought my magna it did not have a working light (the one that comes on when a door is opened in the middle of the car) so i bought an LED one from the net, which appears not to have worked, i checked the old bulb that looked fine. i think i checked the correct fuse, which looked fine, but now the middle, map lights and door lights dont work, i got the warning 5 on the dash got past that ok selected 3.5 then went driving and it just randomly cut out on me through a corner, which made me go to the other side of the road. i made sure the fuses where in correct again did all the settings went for a drive and it now appears fine but no lights still,
anybody have any ideas?

Check the fuses in the engine bay in the yellow holder they are usually the culprit for this. with the centre display 1st choice is S or W meaning sedan or wagon 2nd 3.0 or 3.5 engine size. make the right choices or your readings will always be out.

Thank you for your response, i drove to work this morning no remote locking, footwell lights, map lights etc. and when ever i came to a stop id have to apply the accelerator so the car would not lose revs and cut out, i went and bought a fuse and now i have the lights, locking etc back, but when i drove home and the car started to warm up it did the same thing and wanted to cut out without the revs. got home lights all work so i know its not the fuse, can it be something related to the blown fuse or just coincidence that the car has started doing this?

The car has to relearn its idle and rev range. You can do a few procedures to help it along but it will sort itself out.

LED lights are polarised + & -. Turn the LED globe around the other way.
