is there a special order to remove the air intake manifold if so how?..

For the bolts when removing the plenum/manifold work from outside in, but if you don't know whats involved then you will have to remove a few air hoses, electrical connectors, about 3 bolts on the back holding it on, and I find it easier to remove the throttle body aswell.
Depends what you know to do so far. It would help for you to be more specific.

I found it easier to leave the throttle body on as there are a lot of items attached to it. You do have to remove the air cleaner tubes etc to easily get to the throttle body bolts that go through to the plenum. Also, while you have the plenum off it's worthwhile checking the throttle position switch as everything is out of the way.
