I've quite literally been on the search all night, but can't seem to find what I'm after :(

Think of it this way, there's a bank error in your favor for, let's say $100,000. The bank says you can keep it, the catch, you have to build an absolute monster 6G74 motor for a Magna (TF we'll say). The motor is sitting on an engine crane just above the car in a workshop with every tool you can imagine. A spiral supercharger is a must.

Now I know this sounds all very unrealistic, but who say's we can't make a little game of it and have some fun? :)

For those who don't know, I've ripped the 6G74 out of my old TJ wreck and have it sitting there begging for money to be spent. It's become a love for that engine. Strange and all but each little mod/upgrade I do to my TF with TJ body, I fall in love a little more. Starting to think I'll need to buy a big burial plot for when I go... Just to take the car with me lol.

Thanks in advance guys :)

100K?
Forged internals, supercharger, tune. Let someone else do all the work seeing you are rich. lol
And buy that burial plot.

Should eat up the $100k easy.

Enjoy your daydream!

Never hurts to dream once in a while :P Just a random thought, are the injectors in a 6G72 and 6G74 different? If so what cc to each of them run?

EDIT: Nevermind, found this: http://www.aussiemagna.com/forums/archive/index.php/t-80603.html

You don't need 100k to do a nice magna motor.

Of course if I had that I would dump the 6g74 and go a 6g75! But seeing as you have a 6g74 we'll go with that.

A lightly tuned 6g74 has enough traction issues as it is so first off I would say, some nice big mags with the widest tyres you can get on there. Then a ralliart diff / gearbox.
Engine mods you could go the forged internals, supercharger, big exhaust, etc. It has to look the part as well and not just sound and go the part. Make sure it sits right and doesn't look like a spanners car lol

100k would get you a hell of a lot of power out of a '74. Ported heads and forged internals. You could re-build the whole engine from the ground up using all forged components for that kind of money. With enough left over to 'charge that thing to the shiznit.

Completely forged 3.8, forged lower compression pistons, turbo grind cam and Hd valve springs, mid sized turbo with all custom piping , Bov and customise everything in the engine bay to keep it working, retune car completely and regulate boost between gears, will do 0-100 in 6 but will do 0-200 in 8.5 ;)
