Ok so i got a vrx which the wife had a little accident with.
Nothing happened to the headlights but today i realized that they had replaced them with parabolics without the black housing. they instead have a silver/chrome housing.
Does anyone know which model this belongs to? Do i have to take the front bumper off to remove these headlighs etc?

They're probably what are commonly referred to as 'kouki' headlights, which were JDM only - assuming its a 3rd gen - but imported into Australia by wholesalers as used replacement parts for smash repairers.

Pictures would help us identify if they are stock or kouki. If they are kouki they are a lot more rare than standard parabolics.

Don't know really, they look quite ok on the front of that TJ. Keep them, get used to them.
(Or find what you want at a wreckers, and sell these. Worth a bit seeing they are new.)

EDIT: Crash repairers are within their right to use aftermarket parts if originals aren't available.

They're actually quite rare and expensive.

Put up a swapsies style FS thread on AMC and I'm pretty sure someone will offer their black housing para's pretty quickly!

Do both sides match? As in the left side is the black version? If not don't worry. They hard to get lights anyway. Still look great
