I bought a KH Verada with mixed up headlamp globes. The car should take H7s, but the previous owner managed to stuff an H4 in the hole on one side - with useless results. The other side had the H7 with the nifty little gen part adaptor, so that the narrow prongs on the globe were adapted to the wider fitting on the headlamp connector. I managed a short term fix to replace the H4 with an H7 without said adaptor, but now I want to make the setup reliable and permanent. I went to the local Mitsu dealer to get a new pair - and was told they would be $43 thankyou very much. Seems a lot of dosh for two pieces of moulded plastic with a couple of bits of bent metal in them. I've looked around the dismantlers and found that the adaptors (and bulbs?) are always missing. Does anyone know where I might get a pair at a reasonable price? Many Thanks. David :mits:

I'd go to a wreckers and ask if they have verada headlights (sometimes they can be a bit un-knowledgeable so maybe ask if you can take a squiz at the whole collection of mits headlights). My local wreckers actually remove head/tail lights and have them seperately.

Just remember that H4 and H7 are completely different globes. H4 is dual filliment, H7 is single, low beam. There should NOT be an incorrect bulb in the the socket, as it is illegal (as the headlight is no longer emitting an ADR compliant beam pattern as the bulb is not sitting correctly). It may also be dazzling to other drivers.

Maybe pictures are in order?
