does anyone know why my 1998 3.5L Verada is boiling most of the coolant in the system after i turn the car off. i drive it a 100kmh and theres no problem until i slow down to park in town or turn the motor off. then the over flow pipe that goes in to the coolant bottle and boils the coolant in it causing it to lose most of the coolant. if anyone knows what is wrong please let me know before i blow the motor up:roflwtf:

also the temp gauge never goes above half

Radiator cap not holding pressure.

Yes, Max is very Mad.
No, just give it a rinse under the garden hose, only replace if the rubber bits or return valve are defective. Usually just has crap under the seal or return valve.

If it is the original cap, after 14 years a replacement couldn't hurt.
