Hi all just wondering if anyone knows if a Galant (96-00) has the same rear window, or is very close dimensions to a Manga (96-00) rear window. cheers

Unlikely, its a completely different body/chassis. The Magna also appears to be somewhat larger.

I know there different but in some areas of the car it looks a lot like a magna. Like the rear pillars and back window. Can anyone confirm if the back window is the same length on the top? Want to get a rear weather protector aka grandpa wing but seeing how magna ones are almost impossible to find I was wondering if a galant one would work

Maybe try to track one down from a Diamante from the US or NZ?

Though some dimensions of the car are similar to the Gal, the Galant is a narrower vehical by something like 6 inches.
The slope of the winow is also less pronounced but seeing as you want a wing that 'should' not matter.
Measure the x and y axis of your rear and i will measure my Gal for you to compare.

Anyway - OP, I'd say close to 0% chance of finding someone that knows 100%.

Edit: tl;dr Derp Moment.
I think you can still buy the grandpa wings from mitsy? Surely the cost of buying and fitting a galant windscreen would be more than a brand new grandpa wing?
You may want to consider making one yourself.
Check out WJP004 on youtube for inspiration. He has heaps of videos on fabriciation from fibreglass to real carbon fibre!

Any reason why you're interested in a galant windscreen?

I bought the last brand new grandpa wing in Australia.
Some dealerships will have them "off the system" as uncollected orders or the similar.

Yea I have looked on ebay.com searching for diamante parts for months with no luck yet. As for NZ, didnt even think of that haha
