Hi all.

I recently installed a head unit in a mates 380.
As expected, there is the error message on the display but he has also noticed that the fan speed can not be controlled manually since. It will vary automatically with the climate control, but cannot be changed manually.

Anyone else had this occur or know how to resolve it please?

check the wiring, keep the audio wiring away from the air con wires

I'd check you put the fascia back on properly for the a/c fan fault but the other comm error you cant get rid of it as the stock headunit is part of the canbus which is now missing.

When I did mine I relocated the headunit to the boot behind the sub so mine just says audio off all the time instead of error.
