Hey Guys,
The speaker in the front passenger door of my 380 sx has blown and I want to replace it. Just something of similar quality to the stock speaker, nothing special (I'm pretty broke). I'm pretty sure the speakers are 6.5",correct?

Is it going to be a simple swap, or do I have to worry about spacers and special plugs?
Any recommendations for speakers to buy?

Thanks in advance

Not sure about the size but if the factory speaker is a 6.5 inch speaker and you get another 6.5 inch speaker, if they look like the crappy factory ones they will fit, as the factory ones are dual cones speakers and not really any deeper meaning the only thing that should need looking at will be the wiring and drilling new mounting holes in the factory spacer.

With the connections you can use crimp terminals however these are prone to falling off and like to create resistance so I myself prefer to solder and heat shrink the wires into place.

Cheapest way out is another speaker from a 380.. Visit a wrecker, or see a forum sponsor...

All 380's had splits ( albeit cheap versions) 2 way or 3 way standard...
