I Picked up a new wheel and boss adapter kit to install in my VRX and have a few questions before putting it in.
My main concerns are:
will removing the driver air-bag void my insurance?
would refitting the stock wheel and air-bag be a easy fix?
will a disabled air-bag interfere with the srs system?
how could I go about keeping the cruise control (adding swtiches)?

If you have an airbag steering wheel, then removing it, is illegal and it's goodbye insurance and goodbye TAC cover.
Besides, why would you? Life > Looks. Stupid thing to do - be happy your car comes with an airbag.

Removed air-bag will set off SRS light. This can only be disabled by Mitsy and requires a full inspection = $$$$$'s

Just don't remove it. Either get a factory fitted ralliart wheel, nardi wheel from a GTV(i) that's available from Japan through Import monster, an Evo 4-6 wheel, or a Galant/Legnum VR4 one from 96-03.
