G'day, has anyone ever replaced the indicator stalk on a 380 & if so are there any tricks to removing the unit?

Had mine replaced under warranty.

Waited while the tech did it. Less than 5 minutes so would assume uncomplicated procedure.

Turn wheel one way, undo screw on cover, turn wheel other way, another screw, a couple under cover then cover comes off

Yep thanks for that, it took longer to get the housing off than it did to get the stalk out. Have sourced a 2nd hand stalk for 1/3rd the price of a new one, it'll get me out of trouble.

Sorry to dig up an old one but the indicator stalk on my 380 is not automatically turning the indicator off after a left turn, is this a symptom of a failing indicator stalk ?.
