Hi guy's. Is there a trick to removing the distributor.I have removed the 2 obvious nuts on the side.Removed the leads and dizzy cap,but it wont pull out.If i get a screwdriver,i can pry it out,but this doesnt sound right.I shouldnt have to force it out.
The manual says that there is no need to worry about TDC,as it will only fit in one way.
Any help would be appreciated.Cheers

I cant answer your question but I suggest you give it time, with the dizzy you want the right info from the people who know what they are talking about, however being Christmas time members may be struggling to get on here at the moment.

Is that the 3 screws under the dizzy cap,or are there 3 nuts, including the nut to adjust timing?

Has 3 screws in the cap, 2x 12mm nuts holding the dizzy into the head, i had trouble pulling mine out, i just wiggled it gently whilst pulling it, i found pulling from one side wont work because the tolerance is close and there is an o'ring in there, yes and you cant put it back wrong it only goes one way, good luck

There is no nut to adjust timing, there are 3 screws in the cap.
The 2 nuts which hold the dist in will not allow any adjustment, the timing is controlled by the ECU only and not adjustable unless you are getting into the map
