OK first i can understand that this may of been asked many of times before and i have been searching around and only found 1 thread that was somewhat helpful.

I have a TE 96 altera 3 ltr I have 2 other cars that i have the choice of engines out of there both 3.5 car 1 is a KF 97, 2 is a TH 99.

To do a full engine swap what parts do i need to keep out of ether car? Im taking the engine and the trans all auto.

I also read somewhere that if you take something out of the trans for the 3 and put it in the 3.5 trans it gives it more grunt, is this true and if so what part is it?

I did a 3.5 conversion from a kf to a tf 3.0 on the weekend, it was a straight swap, you also need the exhaust upto the cat, as the manifolds are different. I used the 3.0 gearbox, wiring loom etc.
