I've swapped over the maf, fuel pump, fuel, throttle pos sensor, plugs, leads, idle stepper motor, and I'm about to swap the dizzy.

The car idles at 2k, then dropps down, but won't rev unless the throttle is gently pushed. If you tramp it, it just stalls.

I have exactly the same problem with a ks verada too. Exactly the same symptoms.

Any help?

I would say dirty throttle body,but i doubt it

It was the dizzy.

bit of dust in it over the years ??

It may have something to do with the fact the car had been sitting in the same spot for 2 years.
