Can anyone tell me how to remove it? I can get the bottom of it unclipped up the top is stuck really good, are there any hidden screws anywhere? I just need to replace the clear lens on it because it is covered in spots probably from some cleaning product. Also, where would be the best place to get another lens for it, Mitsubishi no longer has it available. Luckly they still have the dash cluster lens available because I need that as well.

If it makes any difference its just the TJ Exec.

Bump..... Anyone? I don't want to break it by trying to force anything.

Make sure you unclip the cable for the fresh air switch, it clips on the right side if the heater box, flick the switch a few times to see which one, if you don't unclip it it will break.

then give the vent a firm pull and it will come out.

those marks are usually caused by "armor all", have you tried polishing with a good plastic polish?

I have tried a few different cleaning products on it but doesn't seem to make any difference. Maybe it has been on there for too long. I know not to use something like armor all to clean the cluster or other clear plastic because I have seen this happen with a few other cars before.

Would you know of a good plastic polish that I could try?

Where would I find it? Repco, Autobarn, etc? If not then there is some on eBay, but I would prefer if I could get it local (then I can get some tomorrow).

Just wanted to say thanks for your help, I found the cable and disconnected it and the air vents came straight out.
