One of my fog lamps has a hole in it... probably a stone. I see the lens is held on with two metal sping clips. So I went to pick-a-part and bought another fog light, this one the black housing is busted but the lens is good. I just want to change the lens over, whats the deal with removing the lens from the black housing?

Hey thanks - 150 degrees for 5 min sound about right? I was just going to smash the bad lens off the light as well - any problems with that or should I oven that one as well?

there will be jagged bits stuck to the glue if u smash it and it can be dangerous better to heat it so it comes off in 1 piece

Thanks guys, oven worked a treat. 200C for 15 min, carefully prize the lens out with some screwdrivers, wash the lens and install it in the good housing. New H3 globe and the budget $15 fog light make-over is complete.
