Hi hi!
My car is overdue to be registered, but before it gets registered, I was told I needed two new tyres for the car, and a new windscreen.
When I rang around windscreen places, they told me that 1996 was a "changeover" year or something, where there were 2 different Magna windscreens, and they wanted me to find out which one it was so they could give me a correct quote for the right one.
Where would I find out this information?

Also.... because I needed new tyres, my partner bought up a set of 4 rubbers, no rims, 14 inches, whereas the cars current rims are 15s. A friend tried to tell me that putting 14s on the car after taking off the 15s, they wouldn't fit and it would interfere with the brakes. I thought that sounded a bit weird, so thought I'd ask about it here.
Thanks :)

Yeh, 1996 was the last year of the TS model and the start of the TE model. IF your pic is of your car it looks to me like a TE but you can tell for sure by getting your VIN as it tells you which model of car you have.

Heres a generic mitsubishi magna VIN:

6MMTL6D423T000001

In your number it will have your model letter where the bolded L is in this one.

Edit: the VIN is located under the hood, basically at the top of the back wall you will see some metal plates with information on them.

Going by your avatar pic
1. Windscreen - Tell them your car is a third Gen TE model (information is in the engine bay a long list of letters and numbers called the vehicles VIN)
2. 14 inches diameter are too small, you need 15 (which is factory rim size for your car).
