If your talking about the front crossmember under which the power steering rack sits i would guess genuine only.
Not a common part.
I have only ever removed two cross members in all my Magna work over the years. Not normally touched by most people. Vee
Ps and with the age probably not available anymore like quite a few 1st gen stuff.

Are you referring to the control arm bushes?http://users.tpg.com.au/acheson1/images/CtrlArm.jpg
If so, do a search on eBay for "magna tp bushes". There will only be 7 or 8 results, almost all being swaybar bushes. However one listing is for bushes for the front control arms. The listing only includes a pair of the rear bushes (top left in the above image). $65 plus postage seems high to me since you'd still have to get the front pair of bushes elsewhere. I would try Repco as a first stop.

Contact your local Mitsubishi dealer and ask them what vehicles use the same part. Perhaps you can then source the parts from a newer model. Mine are going to be done on Tuesday. Along with a new pair of Monroe GT Gas shocks.
And by the way guys...when you go to Repco to buy stuff; go online to a couple of the bigger online auto parts traders and get their price; then go to Repco ask them if they price match (which if they don't they are just taking the rise out of you) and tell them the price you were quoted online.
The price I was quoted by Repco for a pair of front shocks was $414. I sourced some from a crowd in Vic. and they quoted me $267 incl. postage.
I told that to Repco and was given a price of $300 after they were told of the online price. So you can see it was a fair saving. I ended up getting them from Repco because they wouldn't have arrived in time for the job to be done.
Good luck boys.

Yeah did all my shocks/dampers last year all round.......from an old post
Supa cheap have 25% off suspension at the moment so took the opportunity to buy some rear shocks and fit them to the TP wagon as the Monroes are getting a bit tired and starting to leak.........
Set of rear Gas Gabriels for $74 which made a huge difference to the ride and noise level as one of the rears was making noises on rough roads!! Did the front struts a few months back for $100 a pair when they were selling off some old stock!! Bargain!! Vee

The chap that does my car is using new bushes for the control-arm, with a fair retail markup at $90. So that price quoted with the diagram is a bit sus.

Thats for the rear pair of bushes only and thats what they are on ebay as have been contemplating changing mine. You might be getting a full set of four for $90 which includes the front bushs as well i would say. Also price depends on if they ar rubber like the OEM or nolathane..........
Heres a cheaper set
