I bought a towbar off Ebay for a 1995 KS Verada, the listing was complete with all bolts.
However the guy forgot to include the bolts I have since chased him up about them and I don,t like my chances of getting them anytime soon .
Does anyone know what thead size the chasis rail towbar bolts are ?
I have already tried 10 mm x 1.0 ,1.25 and 1.5 metric pitches without successes .
Any help would be appreciated ..

Hi Rudy,
I recently removed a tow bar from a KR Verada sedan (should be the same?) and took the old bolts to Coventry Fasteners for replacement.
As I removed the bolts I did not notice that one was slightly longer (35mm instead of 25mm) so I did not make note of where the longer bolt was located. Coventry did not have a 35mm in stock so I got a 40mm (as on invoice). I was hoping that I would be able to work out where the longer bolt was needed on installation (which I have not done yet). My guess would be however installed ran out of 25mm bolts, because at a glance I cant see why one should be longer...
You will also need a piece of steel with two holes, mine is 150mm X 50mm X 6mm to brace the inside of the tyre well
hope this helps, I think the exact order of things is not right in the photo, but im sure you get the idea!

Went and had a look this morning as I noticed you said you had not had success with 1.25.
both the old bolts and new bolts did not seem to be perfect! Both felt a bit stiff like they might be wrong size or cross threading.
Maybe the threads in the chassis are a bit off? Maybe whoever installed the tow bar I removed used wrong size? My feeling is they are OK just a little tight for some reason... I still have not got around to fully installing. I will let you know if I make any useful discoveries.

Thanks heaps , I have found your post very helpfull as I think others who read this in the same or similar situations . As It turns out the bolts finally arrived some 3 weeks late. Not sure why I had trouble with the 1.25 mm thread possblly dirty or slightly bent bolts, I was reluctant to tighten to much in case i crossthraded them , maybe they were just tight fitting as you suggested. Your help is greatly appreciated.
Best Regards Rudy
