hey all, is there a muffler u can buy that just bolts on a ralliart/vrx? with a pipe that sticks out the back rather than pointing down so i can weld the chrome tip back on?

or am i better off getting one from mitsubishi spares? thanks.

There used to be a LUkey bolt on replacement but i found that it was quieter and not as effective as the original Ralliart/VRX muffler.

Best advise is get yourself an original one.

I'll have my VRX one available in a couple of weeks if you are interested.

The Lukey LR2779 is the replacement for the Sports/VRX rear muffler. It's pretty much identical, but it's cut & weld not bolt on.

If you want a new one you are better off checking to see if Mits still have them, if used is fine I think I have one here

the redback magna muffler is the only one that bolts on. that is aftermarket.

Lukey AL4-5597 is a direct bolt on with the pipe sticking straight out. I've got one on my maggie.

is it the pic or does it look like its pointing down a bit? only reason is the ralliart tip is like a squashed hexagon shape and it wouldn't look right if its pointing down.

That's bent. The normal one is straight.
