Would a 8kg/6kg spring rate be sufficient on a 380, or would 10kg/8kg be better because of the extra weight of a 380 compared to a Magna?
Doubt I'd go any lower than 'Superlow' height so I figure I don't need to go super stiff, but I'm curious as to what everyone else thinks.

10/8 at least .......

if you dont go below superlow height u can run 8/6, would be comfy.

That's what I'm figuring... if it's Superlow height, with coilovers that are stiffer than Superlows, it can't be a bad thing... right?
On the same note, I'd hate to wear out coilovers prematurely because I had them set too low or too soft.

I reckon 8/6 on a 380 will be too soft you may as well get superlows as it will be firmer LO

Agree with Fooz, 8/6 would be like driving on half flat tyres, way too soft for the suspension on the 380 to make use of the set up.
May work on a Magna but last time I looked under a 380 was a totally different car :)

but 8kg front are still pretty stiff, i think theyd be stiffer then superlows???? does anyone have springs rates for 380 superlows?

My 380 coilovers are 12 front 10.5 rear, its quite firm although not bone jarring so I reckon 10/8 would be the softest you'd put into a 380 otherwise you may as well not bother.

In agreeance - 10/8 would be the softest.

fair enough point. I guess the affect of weight on the coil around corners would almost be exponential. 10/8 isnt tooo bad anyway Damo

Looks like 10/8 is the way to go... thanks for the advice.
