Hi all,
Just picked up a 2000 model TJ VR-X.
Currently im having an issue where when you turn the ignition on - everytime the computer displays "S".
i go through the options to set it to sedan then 3.5, then i turn the ignition off and its back to displaying "S".
also when i start the car the dash displays "TCL OFF" and pressing the TCL button doesnt appear to do anything??
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks,
MadMax

Look for a blown fuse in the engine compartment fuse box.

Yep. Pull them out one at a time and test them with a multimeter. Just looking at them can be deceptive.

Did you check the fuses in the yellow box thats inside the engine bay fuse box?

that's where the problem will be in the fuse box under the bonnet look in the yellow boxed section there will be two fuses the same thing happened to me two days ago because one of the interior lights had a shorting out issue. From memory there should be a 10 and 15 amp fuse in the yellow box and the 15amp will be the one that needs replacing

Excuse the giant image.
Fuse 11 seems to do a lot more than just run the interior lights.
