Just saw a car with a set of chrome BSA 291 (http://www.weststatetyres.com.au/mag-wheel/bsa-wheels/item/357-bsa-291) rims.

They remind me of the TMR 380 Flares..
They even seem to come in similar offsets (+45)..
What does everyone think of them for a 380?

beautiful wheels, only trouble is the coating on the silver ones anyway comes off after a few years and they are made of a weird black metal under so it looks terrible... keep the finish away from brushes and they should be ok.

They look good.

They are the 'hyper black' chrome finish which I reckon looks better (darker) than a bright chrome finish (like the TMR 380 ROH Flares).

Get the 19" x 8", anything less than 19" on a 380 looks too small.

ET 45 offset could be a problem though, you generally need 38 or 36 offset for 19" or 20" rims on a 380, otherwise you're looking at fouling on suspension components, mainly at the rear.

So I wouldn't get them unless they come in ET 38 offset or if they don't you can 'no obligation' trial fit the ET 45s before you buy. Preferably with 245/35R19 tyres on them.

For tyres your best bet is 245/35R19, perfect fit on 19x8 ET38 even with lowered springs, plenty of choices in this size and some going quite cheap.

They look nice cashie. however my opinion has always been that the 380 looks better with more spokes (7-10). it always looks a little odd if you have rims with massive openings showing off stock small brakes.

I think you may be right...

Thanks for the info on offsets, but I was of the understanding that the TWR380 rims are +46 offset?

They should fit ok under that offset, 380s aren't that different to magna are they?
