Howdy all.
So when my climate control is turned on it clicks for roughly a minute somewhere behind the dash.
The clicking is like a cog being threaded and not turning something.
It occurs everytime the air conditioning is turned on unless the temperature is turned completely down, to 17 degrees.
Anyone know which servo would be doing this? Is there a temperature control servo?
As you can tell I dont know anything about 3rd gen climate control systems.

Is it a loud click coming from about floor height behind the dash?

The clicking is the stepper motor, Magna's have a similar problem usually with the air mix one, best to get under the dash and determine which of the 2 motors it is, will not be the recirc one behind the glove box as these generally stay put. Most likely the one under the heater box for the heater flap if that makes sense.
I am not 100% sure if they are the same mounts as the Magna ones however either way I have the Legnum here so I can check when you get a chance to work out which one it is

I fixed this yesterday with help from a thread on OZVR4. It was the motor that moves when I change the temperature on the climate control. Not quite sure what this one is. I took it apart and one of the gears had lost a tooth. I repositioned it so it wouldnt use that part of the cog and it works perfectly fine now!
It is below and behind the stereo and just off to the passenger side. About the size of a pack of cards. I really should have taken pictures!

Are you working on a verada or a VR4? I am not sure about magnas/veradas but I think it would be similar. It involved taking off 50% of the plastics of the left side of the dash (glovebox, trims etc) and the stereo mounting but after that it was just three screws and a clip to get the unit itself out.

Yeah KH verada mate, sounds less involved than I first assumed if similar!

Is pretty much the same as the Verada or CC Magna one, the Magna / Verada one is not too bad to change or repair but getting it off, there is 1 screw which is a real bugger to get to

where is the best place to obtain a replacement part?

I know that this is a rather old thread, but this helped me sort out the clicking issue that recently started in my KH. Thanks :)
