I need some help i just finished off putting a new auto gear box in my wagon, went to turn the keys and the engine won't start, lights won't turn on, nothing at all. Any help will be greatly appreciated. I need to get my car going

I trust you have reconnected your battery...

Battery could be flat. Had my car gathering dust for a month before tackling the trans removal and the battery was flat. ;)

If you disconnected the starter motor did you reconnect the spade connector to the solenoid?

The battery is connected, haha. I have it on charge now and i tried to use the battery out of my dads car, still no luck. I think i have to reconnect the ground to a better spot on the engine. Thanks for the help. I will report back after tomorrows work.

Would that be in the engine bay or the drivers footwell?
Cause i have looked at all of the fuses and none are blown.

Larger current drawing devices in engine bay, the smaller in the footwell. Starter is in the engine bay. Check your connections first.

I checked the main fuse and found that a power wire off that wasn't connected it was all tucked away behind the fuse box, thanks guys
