Hey guys,

As few of you may know, before I bought my Magna my idiot friend had cross wired the battery terminals while attempting a jump start, and basically fried everything. After fixing most issues through an auto electrician and having the car running again, I'm now considering installing a new head deck, since the old one is now clearly f@#$ed. The issue is I didn't know whether the speaker we're still working, and was told to use a multi meter to check the Ohm's. When I measure the terminals of the speakers themselves, they read an average of 3.8 - 4 Ohm's, which I'm told is normal and in working condition. However, when I measure the wiring from the car to the speakers, the reading shows different numbers every second, thus not being a stagnant amount.

Does this mean the wiring has a short somewhere, and need to be either found or replaced? How hard are they to replace, and how much do they cost if this is the necessary thing to do? I drive a 1998 T/K Magna sports.
