about $400 for mandrel 2.5", look around, most exhaust places should be able to order it in.
it sounds quiet, compared to Canons. a little bit louder than stock at idle and when you open it up, it sounds nice, it sounds like a performance exhaust, haha. hard to explain without the actual sound.

thanks that's what I was looking for - Mine's a company car so I can't have a loud idle going on but some extra snap when working hard is okay. How was the fit and finish of the Redbacks overall - no bangs thumps and rattles? I found this place offering the range so I though I'd check them out in the absence of any other recommendations.

I went to the redback cat back system from a straight through cat back canon, I got instant torque increase, :) , reduced the 2000rpm drone, with the canon, it was so bad that on freeways, I would not be able to listen to my self think, but now the drone is much softer and is livable. I thought the build quality was pretty good, the muffler felt very solid and not tinny, the CAT back piping has an intermediate resonator and a sausage.
I've got pacemakers on, and I have a different flex pipe due to the factory one braking. the pacemakers adds more burble and some controlled backfire when coasting down in gear. the flex pipe i put in was shorter than the factory one and for some reason it makes a Zzzzttt between 3500 and 4000, but you only hear it if you drop rpm from 4500+ down to 3500~4000. I think it's bad, I should add another flex in there somewhere.

I did before, due to my old shocks sitting 10mm lower than usual and did not rebound over holes! BIG NO NO.
Ever since I changed my shocks to new ones, i haven't had any clearance issues at all, they sit a good 110mm off the ground now. lol...

sorry guys i realise this topic has more than likely been raised before but...
where in Sydney would you guys recommend getting extractors and cat-back exhaust fitted. I already have redback 2.5" cat and cat-back exhaust but the exhaust is f**ked after two years of living on dirt roads.
any preferred brands/exhaust places. I've read that there is either the RPW extractors or pacemakers, which is better (this really means which are cheaper).
Any estimate prices appreciated also,
thanks

(by the way its for a 3.0L TF magna sedan.)

Well I've made a decision and booked the car to have a genuine Mitsu sports muffler fitted. My two concerns were proper fit and finish and Insurance compatibility. Cost, if anyone wants for reference, is $412 for the muffler, $20 for some kind of gasket, plus labour - should come out around the $500 mark which is more than the Redback solution but no worries as to the concerns above.

It's just a lukey muffler basically and you can get one installed 200+ cheaper!
