Not sure if thats what it is actually called, but its basically those little silver plastic strips that go down the edges of each door.

Anyway, the one on the driver door is falling off, often opening the door makes the top 2/3rds starting hanging off, obviously its annoying.

Now i can't decide what to do, either fix it or just remove all of them.

If i were to fix, what would i use to stick it back in place properly?

If i were to remove, can i just peel them all off or would this leave glue marks or anything on the doors? is there any special way i should remove these to keep the doors clean?

Thanks!

Got a picture?
Might be something added by a previous owner. Take one off and see how they are attached, possibly?

No chrome on the edges of the door here.

Just the strips going down the doors here.

Really contemplating just removing them as they do feel slightly over the top.

That's just a bit of bling added by an owner.

I’m pretty sure KL/KW Verada’s came with that chrome strip from the factory.

Google "KW Verada" and select Images. No chrome strips to be seen.

Both the vertical chrome strips and the horizontal ones above the door bump strip are add-ons by some previous owner.

The horizontal ones are off a KL/KW and are incorporated into the bump strip.
The vertical ones are aftermarket.

The lower door moulds and sills are off an L/W series as well.

I guess thats why they look so cheaply tacked on at the top and the sharp bend on the back doors.

Definitely going to see if they will easily come off tomorrow.

Yes, this. The horizontal strip is standard which is what I was initially referring to.

OK then, the horizontal ones need to stay as they are original but the vertical ones need to come off. If there is any glue left over after you remove them, clean up with some solvent.
