Hey guys, just got a set of electric window motors, switches etc pretty much everything to do a conversion from manual windows but the loom. now i have been searching a bit and heard that if my TE has factory cruise the install is easier has i dont need the dash loom? only the floor loom, btw where is that located?
Or if anyone know what each pin of the back of the switches go's to i.e power, ground etc i would be able to make my own loom as im quite knowledgable with electrics and would be a great challenge :D thanks

Anyone know? Or know of any links that may help, haven't found to much in the way of DIY threads
It's a pain of a job if you don't have the wiring handy.
I got a kit off a member a while back which included:
All 4 motors, switches and all 4 door looms.
Because I had done a climate conversion i had already swapped the dash harness over earlier, and had all the electric window wiring. My car is a stock TJ Exec, so none of the fancy schmutter. :/
All i was missing was the floor looms to have access to the rear windows.
I've got a printout of the circuit diagrams here somewhere, I'll see if I can find it tomorrow.
The only thing i can remember right now is that each switch has a Blue, Green and Brown wire that traces back to the Driver's master switch.
The floor loom has 2 plugs that go in to the dash loom behind the junction block, in the corner of the drivers footwell. It then goes straight to the middle of the car, one part goes to the drivers side B-Pillar, the other part goes straight across past the handbrake to the passenger side B-Pillar.
With the cost of new wire in the thicker gauge I'd be tempted to say you're better off getting the looms off a wreckers though. ^^

If I was to get a KH loom or a TJ S1 loom could I still use my existing speedo and climate control? If so taking out the dash looks to be a big job lol
