I noticed both of the headlights on my 38 (07 GT) have numerous tiny little cracks or crazing as it is usually caused. Don't know why I didn't notice it until now. I can't see a thread taking about the 380 lights doing this (a few on water ingress though). Has anyone else had this on their 380s?

I don't know if it was from the recent string of 40+ days but I would assume temps would be higher from the bulbs being on for hours.

Not really good enough for a 6 year old car......

I've noticed this on quiet a few 380's. Always thought the lights looked like they had been sand blasted or something.

Maybe same manufacturer as the window regulators and seat surrounds? :)

Same here. Coating seems to be lifting off

Shame. I tried polishing them out but they seem too deep. Light output still seems ok. Will see how they go in a few years.

Do you have headlight protectors? I wonder if they could help stop it. My 2006 LS (with headlight protectors) doesn't seem to have any crazing.

TL and TW do this as well. UV light on the perspex (or whatever sort of plastic it is). Try a headlight restore kit, might work if it is not too deep.

I have a touch-up guy I use who does a great job and he says he can bring it back to new and seal/UV treat them. He is fixing a small dent soon so I am going to get him to have a go.

Headlight protectors might be a good idea although I did see on some searches people who developed crazing because of headlight protectors (too much heat) although they seemed to be ones that stuck onto the headlight lens.
