My TE's trip meter is stuck at 9.9km, it is the most km it can reach every time after resetting it, it will just tick-tick-tick once it reaches 9.9km, but not going any further. Is there a quick fix? or should i take it back to the dealer?

also, could it be caused by some1 changing the odometer? cos from the history log of the car, it has only done 20,000km in the previous 3 years, a bit strange, but the car is in very good condition, which makes it hard to judge whether the odo reading has been changed or not

could this be due to the odometer has been reqound or something, hence it destroyed the gear on the tripmeter? taking it back to the dealer would be the best way to go.

yeah, if you got it from a dealer take it back and get them to fix it... otherwise you're probably stuck with it (unless you wanna pay for it yourself)

i doubt it would be tampering cause which idiot in their right mind would change the trip meter to make it look like the car has done less km's :bowrofl:
