Guys,

Apologies if this has already been posted, however, I am new and there are a lot of posts.

A bit of history, my battery warning lamp had been flickering for some time. Before I could have the alternator reco'd the Anti Lock and brake warning lamps came on.

Since having the alternator reco'd, and leaving the battery disconnected for a day, i refitted it to my car and the brake warning lamps are still illuminated.
I have cleaned all the abs sensors and replaced the front and rear brake pads.

Let me know if there is something else I should be doing/checking.

Might help to know that I have tried to check for codes using 4 different diagnostic tools, but have come up with nothing

And see if the float in the reservoir is not stuck. Just jiggle it up and down a bit if the fluid level turns out to be ok. Could be that simple.

Thanks for the tips - I will check it out.

Brake fluid level seems ok, from what I can tell on the outside of the reservoir.

trying to find out if it is related to the alternator issues

You really should have the system scanned, could be a wheel sensor, the abs modulator or something simple like the fluid level

Thanks MadMagna.

I have not had the system scanned since the fitment of the reco'd alternator.
Previously, I have tried 4 different scan tools, but none of them would connect to the PCM
