Hi Guys cant explain motor runs fine but when its a hot day feels like ive dropped a cylinder or 2 doesnt seem in other words not as responsive/feels sluggish. Started happening a couple of months back after car overheated (looked like faulty thermostat) which then obliterated the intake pipe from the radiator thereby stranding me on the freeway :tired:
Checked a couple of things:

* Not smoking, no milky white oil (:facejump:)
* Coolant ok
* No check light (havent checked for any codes though)

Things previously replaced:
* Reco motor from a 2004 6G74 with 80k
* New plugs
* New leads (disti hasnt changed)
*water pump/timing belt replaced

Note waterpump/timing belt had been replaced 2.5k km previously with new parts (thanks mitsfix) . After a couple of days or so power feels like its back to normal .

Any suggestions?
