Do Bi-Xenon projectors lenses work solely as high beam as well or will they constantly try and switch?

N.B. I already have the bulbs for a high and low beam and the projectors for the low beams, just need the high beam projectors.

Just take out the cut-off shield and it'll function solely as a high beam projector.

Cheers for the quick reply. I thought of doing that but the low beams are $150 each whereas the Bi-xenons are as low as $50 so if it is possible I was hoping to use them.

If you are paying $150 each for a single or even a pair of projectors, you are paying WAY to much. Catch up with me at the next meet.

Yeah thought so, was hoping to get them finished before the next meet, is there any advice you can give me on here?

maggie's gone through more projectors than I could care to count lol I also did a projector retrofit on my old Magna. I have some details in my Members Machine thread for my VR-X Magna (link in sig).

Just food for thought - are you doing the retrofit for looks or for performance?

I had bi-xenons in my Magna to replace the low beam, and then I just put HID bulbs in my high beam. VERY impressed with the light output. If I had my time again I wouldn't have changed anything.

Maybe its worth waiting till wednesday then :)

As for looks vs. performance; it's a little from column a, little from column b. The Halogens (even with Narva Ultra Blue bulbs) still looked yellow in comparison to the L.E.Ds, and since putting an H.I.D bulb in Im astounded at the difference. But I do want them to be relatively close to legal/not delibrately blind my fellow motorists.
