Hi All, this is my first post so please go easy. I own a 2003 TL VRX. A couple of months back the air con stopped working, actually there was no power to the air con unit in the dash, the light on the recir button and the demister button wouldn't light up when pressed. When you turn the head lights on the illumination lights wouldn't come on either. I checked fuses, relays and even disconnected the battery to try and reset the computer. After a couple of weeks it started working again. It worked for about a month. But now it's dead again. I have tried swapping fuses again. Still no go. Before I rush of to the local auto lec, is there anyone who has had the same issue or can offer some advice???
Also the SRS light comes on and off every now and then.

try removing the fan/air con controls and check if the plugs are seated correctly as something may be loose.

Thanks, i have removed the plugs from the a/c ecu, left them out for a few mintues and plugged the back in...still no power.

When you say checked the fuses, did you check both the AC fuse under the bonnet and the one in the drivers passenger footwell?

Yep, checked both.

Ok, so now it's working again.....it was the ac auto temp controller. I replaced it last night and now i have power to the ac unit again. On the way to work this morning (over an hour drive) I noticed the air con wasn't cooling the car down. I set the temp to hot and the car heated up.
I don't think the compressor is kicking in....Any thoughts???
