hey guys, went down to the drags Wednesday night and ive had a problem with the clutch not engaging, this is only when a burnout is attempted...dumping the clutch etc.... every other car ive driven this hasnt happened so its the first time, although happened a handful times now, simply put it in gear dump it but just revs no wheel spin so i obviously clutch it back in and take off as smooth as possible, the guy dealer i bought it off assured me it was changed not too long ago....is the clutch not up to the power or this is common? with an upgraded clutch be necessary to put this through so much stress? i don't really plan on going often to enter or anything like that but just seeing if there is a problem or not....cheers guys :)

get a mechanic to adjust the clutch, my standard clutch is fine, otherwise to do the burnout hold the ebrake and feather the clutch out as you rev the car then plant it once the clutch has gripped, should still spin up easily.

Is tere any free play at the top of the pedal

there is a bit of free play, its not like a light switch though, engaged or disengaged, sometimes its actually more noticeable than other times (when it gets hot) feels spongy, springy....
