Hi everyone,
One of my front suspension bushes (left side, rear of the control arm, held on by 3 bolts) has leaked out its fluid and needs replacement. I'll do both sides at the same time. While at it I'll change the sway bar bushes with poly as per the DIY elsewhere on this site. Can someone tell me the part numbers for the sway bar bushes, control arm rear bush, and where to buy them from?
I'm keen for the car to remain as comfortable as original, so if replacing the sway bar bushes with poly will do that, please let me know now. Car is a KF Xi.
Cheers,
Ian.

My KH XI is in the same state, I'm interested to hear what people have to say about this, my car feels really unpredictable on the road, hopefully replacing the bushes will fix this.

Changing the swaybar bushes to poly won't change the quality of the ride by much at all; however changing the lower control arm bushes will. Considerably.
The only way to get rubber replacements for the control arm bushes is to get the complete arm from Mitsubishi, AFAIK. They're about $220 each but include the arm, the rear bush, the front one & the ball joint. Poly bushes are available from Pedders, Nolothane & Superpro.
I've fitted them to my Magna's purely to increase caster, which is great but you feel every bump in the road. They can be a bit noisy too.
The swaybar bushes are available from Nolothane. Have a search on eBay & you'll find them.

Rear bushes are avail individually from Mits and we usually stock them as well
I prefer to use rubber bushes everywhere I can on any car I do as they are far better thus why car makers use them
