Though, if the the USDM Diamante came with it, there would be no reason why you can't use that.

The USA Diamante did not come with ANY chromatic external glass. Only heated Glass. There were not enough pins for both options, and at the time Gentex did not make chromatic & heated glass panels.

The JDM cars did not get chromatic external glass either. So only Aussie cars get them and only on the drivers side.

oh well never mind thank you for the replies and also putting my mind at rest thinking about running extra wires down to operate the E/C mirror for the passengers side although it would have been great to have

It is good. I found it very useful on my current car. But the convex glass should null some of the reflection
