Hi All,

I was wondering if anyone in Brisbane could spare a couple of hours of with me if i can bring my car to you and have the push button start installed. Its just the push button, no need to bypass the ECU since its an addition to my ignition since I found out my ignition switch fails to crank at times and it takes me 10-15 times try before I get it to start ( hurting my fingers doing this 10 times a day).

It needs some 3-5 wiring with ignition and drilling in dash to install the switch. Relay and everything else came with it.

I really don't want to go to an auto electrician @ their shop because its too expensive.

Any helping hand is appreciated.

Cheers

hasnt someone already offered advice here saying it might be the switch on the back of the barrell playing up, and that replacing this would fix it?

yet your still are determined to not fix it, and install some dodgy start button. this car must be a real ranga am i correct?

unfortunately you will need to go to a auto elec to get the job done right.. perks of having a cool feature ;)

Umm, ok.

You know its around 16 seconds to remove the ignition switch right? You can simply replace it and see if that is the cause.

all replaced. it was the contact block worn out behind the ignition switch.. still an unfinished project with push button. its all installed but not getting continuos power to the unit when ignition turned on. but the button led turn on red once the car starts. guess it needs to be connected to a power line where it gets power when ignition turned on.
