Hi,
I'm a new member & have recently purchased a 1996 TE 2.4 auto & only 130K on clock in great condition, but recently has an intermittent starting fault. Cranks Fine. Battery OK. No start. If I try 24 Hours later, it starts no problem. It has stranded me Four times.
Could this be a fuel delivery problem ie. Filter, Pump Or Injectors needing a service. Any advice would be great or a link to the workshop manual.

Probably better posted in the 3rd gen section mate. Over here. http://www.aussiemagna.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=10

This section is used for questions about the website itself.

If you're lucky, a friendly mod will come along and move this for you.

Usually is caused by the immob, there is a little black box under the ashtray if that makes sense, give that a tap if it happens again, if this cures it then the crystal is loose on the main board and needs to be re soldered

I had a similar problem in my 96 TE. It would have trouble starting. I d leave it for about 30 mins and it would work again. Issue would go away and come back. Turned out the Coolant temperature sensor was faulty. bought one off ebay for about $30 replaced and havnt had an issue since.

I checked error codes on the ECU which lead to this conclusion. I suggest you do the same.
