Hi All

Been getting random CEL's for lean left bank idle every week or so for a couple of months, along with pretty heavy fuel consumption arond Sydney - about 20L/100 at average speed of 25 kmh.

So ran a data log and played back to find that Bank 2 Oxy sensor is very lazy - cycles about once for every 10 Cycles of Bank 1 sensor, and not a clean right angle change

But which is Bank 2? Workshop manual talks about LH & RH banks and can deduce LH is front and RH rear bank

Which is Bank 1 and Bank 2? Does anyone know?

Figured it out by disconnecting one sensor

Bank 2 is Front Bank. Sensor now dead completley and a new one on way to local dealer.

Put new sensor in on Fri - so far all is well, no new CEL's and raough idle etc fixed.

Pleasantly surprised that genuine was $120 from dealer, compared to $210 quote from Repco

MMAL have now superseded the front bank primary sensor with the rear bank primary - only difference is cord is about 50 mm longer
