Eying off some brand new leather for a 03-04 Verada to possibly go into an '01 Exec Magna.

Possible?

Side air bags, rear headrests are a problem, but how similar is the shape of the back seat and fronts between the two models? May be doable, using the rear headrest material to patch the front seat airbag holes.

(On eBay, if you are interested, location = Adelaide.)

I installed leather seats from a KL GTVi into my KJ. Perfect fit, very comfortable. If the drivers seat is electric and your current one is manual you will need to run 2 wires under the carpet. Also the side airbags don't plug in to anything.

These are just the leather skins, not the complete seats.
So the skins would have cutouts for the airbags, as well as the different controls, electric on the Verada and manual on the Magna.
More interested in knowing if the seat shapes are different between the two, or if the Verada leather will slip onto the Magna seat frames/cushions without too much modification.

Obviously easier if I got the complete front and back seats as you have done. lol

Totally different shape, cushion design, foam layout and seat frame.

You will be forced to buy a TL front and rear seat pair (yes, the back is different too)

Pity. These skins are unused NOS but if they don't fit then someone else can have them.
Don't fancy buying the full kit from a wrecker as 10 year old leather wouldn't have much life left in it.
